Get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over.
- 1Everyone plays against the dealer. Cards 2–10 are face value, face cards 10, aces 1 or 11.
- 2You get 2 cards face up; the dealer shows one of theirs.
- 3Hit (take a card) or stand. Go over 21 and you bust — you lose.
- 4The dealer must hit until they reach 17 or more.
- 5Closer to 21 than the dealer wins. An ace + a 10-card straight away is Blackjack.
