Avoid taking hearts (1 point each) and the queen of spades (13) — or take them all to shoot the moon.
- 1Four players, 13 cards each. Before each hand, pass 3 cards (left, right, across, then no pass — repeat).
- 2Whoever has the 2 of clubs leads it. Follow suit if you can; the highest card of the suit led takes the trick.
- 3You can't lead hearts until a heart has been played (“hearts are broken”).
- 4Each heart you take = 1 point; the queen of spades = 13.
- 5Take ALL the hearts and the queen? You “shoot the moon” — everyone else gets 26. Game ends when someone hits 100; lowest score wins.
