Pickleball

Paddle, plastic ball, kitchen line. Serve underhand; games to 11, win by 2.

1. 1Serve underhand, diagonally; only the serving side scores.
2. 2Two-bounce rule: the return and the next shot must bounce before being hit.
3. 3No volleying (hitting before the bounce) while standing in the kitchen — the 7-foot zone by the net.
4. 4In doubles, both partners serve before it passes over (except the first serve of the game). Call the score: server, receiver, server number.
5. 5Games to 11, win by 2.
