Scrabble

Make words on the board with your letter tiles; bonus squares multiply your score.

1. 1Everyone draws 7 tiles. The first word must cover the centre star.
2. 2Each turn: place tiles in one line to make a word joined to the board — or swap tiles, or pass.
3. 3Score every word you made or extended, using the letter values and bonus squares (double/triple letter, double/triple word).
4. 4Use all 7 tiles in one turn: +50 (a bingo). Refill to 7 after each turn.
5. 5Game ends when the bag is empty and someone plays their last tile; everyone subtracts their leftover tiles. Highest score wins.
