- 1Deal 7 cards each; turn over the top card to start the discard pile.
- 2On your turn, match the top card by colour, number or symbol — or play a Wild. Can't? Draw one card (you may play it if it fits).
- 3Skip, Reverse and Draw Two do what they say; Wild picks the colour; Wild Draw Four makes the next player draw 4 (only legal if you have no card of the current colour).
- 4Say “UNO!” when you're down to one card — get caught not saying it and you draw 2.
- 5First to empty their hand wins the round (official scoring: you score the cards left in everyone else's hands; first to 500).
